Burlington Mall: High-Class Shopping and Entertainment Place

The Burlington Mall, owned and managed by the Simon Property Group, is located at 75 Middlesex Turnpike in Burlington, Massachusetts. It is situated just off Route 128 (I-95), at Exit 32B. The mall consists of two floors of space for over 185 specialty shops and a large food court that seats about 775 people. Built in 1968, the Burlington Mall is so popular that it can even be seen in the silver screen as the set for the 2009 film “Paul Blart: Mall Cop” with actor Kevin James.

The mall actually has a lot more to show other than a movie set. The anchor stores at the Burlington Mall are Macy’s, Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor and Sears. The shopping center is well-known for housing high-end stores like Swarovski Crystal, Burberry, The Coach Store, Nine West, Martin + Osa and Michael Kors. Famous clothing shops for men and women include Lacoste, Eddie Bauer, Aeropostale, Abercrombie & Fitch, Banana Republic, Gap and Zara. The mall is not only for adults since there are also kid-friendly establishments to choose from. A visit to the Build-A-Bear Workshop may be a fun activity and shopping experience for children while at the mall. A wide selection of apparel for little tykes can be found at Abercrombie, Baby Gap, Gap Kids and the Children’s Place. Kids and other toy enthusiasts would find treasures in GameStop, BearPort, LEGO Store and Pillow Pets. The mall also answers to technology and communication needs with stores such as Apple, AT&T, Sprint, Custom Wireless, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile and Sony Style. For the world of health and beauty, they have Bare Escentuals, Catherine Michaels Salon, MAC Cosmetics, GNC, Nail Gallery and The Body Shop among many other famous spas and beauty stores.

The stores at the Burlington Mall may be high-class, but there is no shortage of the best food counters at the site, especially in the spacious food court area. Mall-goers could definitely reenergize with doses of Chick-fil-A, Dunkin’ Donuts, Master Wok, Quizno’s Subs, Maki of Japan and Ruby Thai Kitchen. For a more relaxed dining experience, the Burlington Mall also has restaurants like Blue Stove at Nordstrom, Brigham’s Ice Cream, The Cheesecake Factory, Legal Seafoods, Rainforest Café and Uno Chicago Grill.

To be able to enjoy more of the mall’s services and avail of great offers, the Burlington Mall Gift Card can be bought from the Simon Marketplace, Guest Services, and the numerous customer service desks or at the mall office. It may also be conveniently purchased online.

A visit to the Burlington Mall may take a quick drive to the interstate or public transportation. The B-Line’s Red Line and Green Line routes provide service going to the mall’s food court entrance on weekdays. Other options are taking the Lexpress Route 5/6, the MBTA Route 50 which stops at Macy’s and the Lowell Regional Transit Authority Route 19. The mall is open Monday through Saturday from ten in the morning until nine in the evening, and open on Sunday from noon until six in the evening.
